Rick Adams is the chief control officer for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. In this role, he manages a large team of professionals who oversee all risk and control activities for the company's wealth management business.
Rick has a 20-year tenure with the organization spanning both the Wealth Management and Asset Servicing businesses. Prior to his current role, Rick was the head of operations where he was responsible for managing the operational support structure for Wealth Management inclusive of securities processing, cash operations, and specialty services. In addition, Rick led and managed a diverse array of operational processes, functions, and strategic initiatives. He joined Mellon Bank in 1995 as part of the company's domestic custody division. Rick is a member of various business and risk committees and has also served in leadership roles within the organization's Employee Mentoring Program and Diversity Council.
Rick earned both his bachelor's degree and master of business administration from Duquesne University.
