Eric Czepyha is Head of BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s Wealth Advisory & Fiduciary Services group. Eric joined the firm in 2018 and has over 15 years of experience advising private business owners in his capacity as legal counsel, financial advisor, board member and corporate trustee.During the course of his career, Eric has worked with clients on a variety of business issues, including financial analysis and valuation, legal analysis and contract negotiation, pre-transaction planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and succession planning.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Eric served as both Global Head of Trusts & Estates Specialty Assets and Head of Closely Held Asset Management at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank. In this position, he oversaw a team of 40 asset management professionals managing over $8 billion of Private Bank client investments. Prior to his role at J.P. Morgan, Eric was a Director in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Barclay’s Investment Bank. Prior to Barclays, Eric was an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Eric received a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.
