Andy Paterson is Regional President for BNY Mellon Wealth Management in the Central Region, which consists of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago, Washington DC, Dallas, Houston, Ohio and Nevada. In this role, he manages all portfolio management, private banking and new business development activities within the region. Andy is a member of the BNY Mellon Leadership Team and the Wealth Management Solutions Strategy Committee.
Andy has over 25 years of extensive investment and wealth management experience. Prior to his current role, Andrew was managing director of portfolio management for the Central Region, where he was responsible for overseeing seven portfolio management teams. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, he was chief investment officer for a regional financial institution.
Andy received a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Pittsburgh. He is on the Advisory Board of Trustees of the Homeless Children’s Education Fund, in addition to being a member of the Board of Trustees of the Provident Charter School for children with dyslexia, both located in Pittsburgh, PA.
