Myriam Soto is a managing director of International Wealth Management for BNY Mellon Wealth Management and is president of BNY Mellon Trust Company (Cayman) Limited. In this role, she leads the global fiduciary services practice, and assists high and ultra high net worth international individuals and families in meeting their wealth management needs. She works directly with clients and their advisors to implement tax and estate planning strategies based on specific objectives and family circumstances. In addition, she is responsible for the provision of Trustee services to non-U.S. clients of BNY Mellon Wealth Management utilizing onshore jurisdictions (such as Delaware or Florida) or fiduciary and corporate services offered by The Bank of New York Mellon through its subsidiary, BNY Mellon Trust Company (Cayman) Limited.
Myriam joined the firm in 2001 and has more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced tax, trust and estate law at Drinker Biddle & Shanley, LLP. Before that, she worked in the estate and gift tax group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
Myriam received her bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University, her juris doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law and her master of laws in taxation from New York University School of Law. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, as well as, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
