Glenn Adamson

Glenn Adamson is curator at large at the Arts + Industries Building, Smithsonian Institution. A writer and historian based in New York, he has previously been Director of the Museum of Arts and Design; Head of Research at the V&A; and Curator at the Chipstone Foundation in Milwaukee. Adamson’s publications include Thinking Through Craft (2007); The Craft Reader (2010); Postmodernism: Style and Subversion (2011, co-edited with Jane Pavitt); The Invention of Craft (2013); Art in the Making (2016, co-authored with Julia Bryan-Wilson; and Fewer Better Things: The Hidden Wisdom of Objects (2018).

His newest book is Craft: An American History, published by Bloomsbury, and he is co-host of the online interview series Design in Dialogue.

David is the Director of Investments for BNY Mellon Wealth Management’s Planned Giving Group. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the team of investment professionals that manage planned giving assets. David also works directly with clients to design, implement, and actively-manage their planned giving portfolios. His clients include secondary schools, healthcare groups, colleges and universities, religious and cultural organizations and community foundations.

David joined the firm in 2006. Prior to that, David worked at Frank Russell & Co. in Tacoma, WA. While at Russell, David served as manager of portfolio trading operations. In this role, he supervised the team responsible for the data management, cash flow monitoring, reconciliation, portfolio accounting and performance measurement of derivatives-based overlay and hedge strategies.

Joey was recently Executive Consultant and Partner for McGhee Productivity, which provides consulting and educational services to businesses to increase productivity, communication, and quality of life. Yolanda F. Johnson

President of YFJ Consulting, LLC. and Founder of Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy

With a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector, Yolanda F. Johnson has successfully led fundraising operations for a wide range of nonprofit organizations, launching creative event, sponsorship, and marketing initiatives that produced new streams of both contributed and earned income. Her fundraising expertise includes securing foundation, corporate, and government funding, and cultivating a diverse major gifts portfolio.

In addition to leading YFJ Consulting, LLC, Yolanda is the Founder of WOC,Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy®, Founder of Allies in Action Membership Network, and President of Women In Development (WID), NY, the NYC area's premier professional organization for women in fundraising and philanthropy. Yolanda has also had an outstanding career as a performing artist, as a composer, as a producer, as an educator, and she has used her background as a performer to become a sought-after fundraising expert.

Her leadership roles include: serving as an International Advisory Board member and the former Representative for the Foundation for Post Conflict Development to the United Nations; a member of the board of directors of theLehman College Art Gallery; a member of the board of trustees of the Hudson River Museum and a member of the PowHerNYboard of directors. A trailblazing figure on the national fundraising landscape, Yolanda is the first African American President in the 40-year history of WID. She co-established the WID Diversity and Inclusion Task Force and is often a featured expert on incorporating DEI initiatives into organizational culture. Her public speaking portfolio includes keynote presenter, panel expert and panel moderator in addition to an array of powerful workshops created through YFJ Consulting. Yolanda is also a member of the Chronicle of Philanthropy Advisory Committee of national leaders in the non-profit sector.

Crafting her life as a successful performing artist together with her prowess as a non-profit leader, she developed All the World's A Stage, a special workshop using performance practice for getting what one wants out of fundraising, philanthropy and life. She presents All the World's A Stage to audiences across the country. Yolanda is the Worship Leader/Music Director at the church she attends, a member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Women’s Music Fraternity and is on the artist roster for Random Access Music/Queens New Music Festival and the Westchester Chamber Soloists Orchestra. She holds a B.A. in Voice (Music Performance) and an M.A. in Arts Administration with a focus on Fundraising and Events and is the author of various publications and articles on topics in fundraising and philanthropy.

Catherine Keating

Catherine Keating is the CEO of BNY Mellon Wealth Management and a member of the BNY Mellon Executive Committee, the company’s most senior leadership group. Brian Lang

Curator of BNY Mellon’s corporate art collection

Brian is the Curator of BNY Mellon’s corporate art collection. The collection, which is housed in BNY Mellon’s offices in multiple countries, spans four centuries of art including British watercolors and drawings from the 18th to 20th centuries, 19th century American paintings, historic artifacts and contemporary art. He has worked on numerous loan exhibitions from the collection and accompanying programs with institutions including the Andy Warhol Museum, The Carnegie Museum of Art, Tampa Museum of Art and the Royal Academy of Arts among others.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he studied Philosophy, Western European Studies and French Language.

Jackie Jenkins Scott

Jackie Jenkins-Scott is a nationally recognized leader with more than three decades of experience in senior and executive leadership positions in public health, higher education, and corporate and nonprofit board leadership. She served as President of Boston’s Wheelock College for 12 years and President of The Dimock Center for 21 years. She is Founder and President of JJS Advising, a consulting firm supporting individuals and institutions to achieve high performance and strategic results.

Jenkins-Scott brings a wealth of experience in philanthropy serving for ten years on the Board of the Boston Foundation and the Tufts Health Plan Foundation where she was a founding Board member. She spent more than a decade on the Board of the Schott Foundation for Public Education serving as Chair of the Board for three years where she led the board in developing a five year strategic plan to dramatically increase support for public education. She currently serves on the Board of the New York Film Academy, and the national boards of Community Change and Jumpstart.

In 2020, she was appointed by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker for a second term on the Board of Directors of Mass Humanities dedicated to supporting a thriving humanities ecosystem in Massachusetts. Jenkins-Scott has served on the Board of Century Bank for the past 15 years where she is a member of the Executive Committee and is Chairperson of the Asset Liabilities Committee.

Crystal is Head of Philanthropic Solutions for the BNY Mellon Wealth Management Planned Giving group. In this role, she is responsible for managing the client relationship teams in Boston, Massachusetts and Greensboro, North Carolina.She also works directly with large, complex clients on all aspects of their planned giving programs and coordinates resources throughout BNY Mellon to provide support and expertise.
