CHICAGO, February 13 2017 - BNY Mellon Wealth Management, the eighth largest U.S. wealth manager according to Barron’s, has appointed Managing Director Garrett Alton to head its business development efforts in our Central Region. Based in Chicago, Alton will oversee sales teams and efforts in Chicago, Pittsburgh and Ohio. He reports to Andy Paterson, president of the Central Region.
Alton has more than 25 years of experience in financial services and joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management in 2009. Since then he has built and led highly successful business development teams in Atlanta and the Mid-Atlantic region for the firm.
